Happy 2nd book-aversary to The Gift of Knowing You!

Wow! It’s been two years since the release of my book, The Gift of Knowing You, Discovering the Power of Your Story!

Time is flying at warp speed. Do you feel the same way?

Since publication, I have been on a mission to bring my book to life. I design and facilitate workshops that focus on mindfulness, self-discovery, and finding joy. I feel blessed and fortunate to partner with organizations that have invited me to work with their clientele.

Everyone has a story, rich with possibility and the promise to serve others.

I pour my heart and soul into creating workshop experiences because I am passionate about helping people discover all of who they are outside of their life roles and responsibilities. It’s my purpose for being here and where I find joy.

It’s easy for everyday life to get in the way.

My intention is to share content that encourages self-discovery. I want you to discover ways you can live joyfully given your present circumstances (i.e., family/work demands, caregiving, divorce, loss, financial, health, etc.).

Questions are a major part of discovery. One essential question is how can I remain open to explore and identify who I am in order to create or re-create a life that helps me thrive? As you grow and have new experiences, who you are, what elevates you and where you find joy might change too. That’s why it’s so important to keep questioning, reflecting, and evaluating you.

In every workshop, blog or social post, my goal is to open the door to YOU. I want you to discover or rediscover who you are, what’s important, and be clear about your why for being here.

It’s not about the big and the wow, but the small and the now.

At the end of one of my workshop sessions, an attendee said this to me “if you touch one, you touch many and you touched me”. This admission meant, and still means, the world to me. I had to be present to hear it and open to receiving it. And yes, I journaled about it too!  It was a cheerleader moment and evidence of “my why” manifesting.

Your life experiences don’t have to be magnanimous to be important. Little things matter. Little things have value. Little things can be impactful. As you go about your days, if you stay present, you will notice and appreciate the little things.

Challenge yourself to focus on what’s in your control and create a life that is kind to you, given your personal constraints and responsibilities.

As always, I encourage you to prioritize you. Keep assessing who you are and what you want your life to be. Doing so sets the foundation for you to thrive.

By the way, you can find me on me on Instagram here.

Blessings,

Joselyn
